Power supply, fan assembly, and airflow direction support

The power supply and fan assembly units are identified by the following airflow directions:

• Intake FRU with an orange "I" label or without any label: Pulls air from the non-port side of the

switch and exhausts it out the port side.

These units are also identified as/by:

• Port-side air exhaust

• Nonport-side air intake

• Back-to-front (nonport-side to port-side) airflow

• Fan direction is shown as "Reverse" airflow in the

chassisShow command output

• Part numbers ending with -R

• Exhaust FRU with a green "E" label: Pulls air from the port side of the switch and exhausts it out

the non-port side.

These units are also identified as/by:

• Port-side air intake

• Nonport-side air exhaust

• Front-to-back (port-side to nonport-side) airflow

• Fan direction is shown as "Forward" airflow in the

chassisShow command output

• Part numbers ending with -F
