Clearing NAT46 information

Displaying in-progress dynamic NAT46 mappings

Use the show nat64 dns-in-flight command to display in progress NAT46 DNS dynamic learning on

stateless NAT46 gateways.

Syntax: show nat64 dns-in-flight

Table 10 describes the fields returned by the show nat64 dns-in-flight command.

Clearing NAT46 information

You can clear the following information from a NAT46 configuration:

• Dynamic IPv6-IPv4 mappings

• NAT46 statistics

Clearing dynamic IPv6-IPv4 mappings

Use the clear nat64 dns-dynamic-mapping command to clear IPv6-IPv4 mappings learned through

DNS on a ServerIron ADX. This command is issued as follows:

ServerIron ADX# clear nat64 dns-dynamic-mapping 1.1.1.1 2001:db8:7000

Syntax: clear nat64 dns-dynamic-mapping { <IPv4_address> | <IPv6_address> | all }

The <IPv4_address> variable specifies the IPv4 address for the IPv4-IPv6 mapping that you want to

clear.

The <IPv6_address> variable specifies the IPv6 address for the IPv4-IPv6 mapping that you want to

clear.

IPv6 Address IPv6 address (source of incoming IPv6 packets).

Type CLI: Configured

DNS: Dynamically learned

DNS pending: Dynamic learning ongoing

Field Description

Type IPv4: Discovering IPv4 for known IPv6 address.

IPv6: Discovering IPv6 for known IPv4 address.

Tries The number of times this query was attempted.

DNS Server DNS server used for this query.

Query DNS query type sent; can be A, AAAA, or PTR.

IP Address Known IP address (IPv4 or IPv6).
