Configuring active-active HA FWLB

The following configuration and diagram is example of active-active FWLB.

Notes about the configuration:

• FWLB ServerIron ADXs work in active-active mode. Firewall paths will be up on both the

ServerIron ADXs and both ServerIron ADXs can do FWLB.

• The always-active command is configured under VLAN 1. This command should not be

configured under synch ports vlan.

• Stateful algorithm is used for FWLB; therefore, the ServerIron ADX needs to synchronize

sessions with its partner ServerIron ADX to support stateful failover in high availability FWLB

configurations.
